There are two main groups of boxing robots right now. The serious amateur boxing group uses a robot platform like the RoBo-One robotics line. These are relatively expensive robots in the $1000 to $2000 dollar (USD) range and consist of many high quality servo’s under the control of a personal computer. On the low end are the toy boxing robots like The Sharper Image’s boxing robots.
